Flareless Type
(AKA Bite Type)
Flareless tube fittings are a three-piece system (nut, ferrule, and body) that work by forcing the ferrule cutting edge into the tubing wall to create a seal. Flareless fittings do not require a flaring operation and are used on medium- to heavy-walled tubing.
Hydraulic Flanges
There are two types of : Code 61 and Code 62. These flanges are non-interchangeable. The Code 61 (or standard split) flange is designed for hydraulic systems that operate at a maximum pressure of 3000 PSI. The Code 62 (split) flange is designed for hydraulic systems that operate at 6000 PSI maximum, regardless of size. This connection is commonly used worldwide to connect large size (3/4″ to 3″) fluid power systems.
Tube Fittings
Tube fittings connect runs of tubing (for in-line-offset, multiport, and mounting configurations) to other tubing sections, pipe, or other components. Systems are typically configured with straight sections connected by fittings or specially formed connections and joints.
O-Ring Face Seals
As the name implies, o-ring face seal fittings incorporate an o-ring at the face of the fitting and are designed to eliminate leaks in high-pressure hydraulic systems. When the connection is tightened, the o-ring compresses against a flat face sleeve that has been brazed onto the end of a tube.
Instrumentation Adaptors for PRessure-Flow-Temperature
These adaptors and extension pieces are for use with indicator valves and indicators and assist the taking of peak pressure readings on engines where access is difficult.
